iOS TV: How to display apps onto a TV?

hey guys, i was just wondering how i could display what's on my iPod Touch onto my TV.

err, basically, there are not alot of devices that support that..
Depends how ofcourse, you have the connector to beamer stuff cable thing you can attach, and then insert a VGA cable or so.
Or you can get an Apple TV, but I think only iPad 2/3 and iPhone 4S can mirror to the Apple TV..

Currently this is only possible with the iPad 2 (And 1 if it is JB) and via AirDisplay, I think?

I suspected it before, but now I'm almost certain: This isn't a programming question, is it?

(My apologies if this is a programming question... my impression was that developers don't have to do anything special to their apps and that having video out be a mirror of whatever was on screen was an "out of the box" feature of iOS 4 or 5... I've never tried to use video out though, to be honest.)

What do you mean by "cable connectors"? Coax? Or component-video? Or something else? You need to be more specific.
