Is there an easy way to hook up a cable TV on iMac? When I say easy I mean not as expensive as buying original Apple TV tuner. All TV tuners that can be bought in Croatia don't have support for MacOs.

I personally use Elgato TV on my mini. This generally seems to the OSX TV package of choice.

Is there only Cable Tuner, which supports DVB-C broadcast. I live in the UK, so I couldn't tell you if it is suitable for Cable in Croatia, however you may be able to find out more about Cable Broadcast and if is suitable.

MythTV seems to be not quite straightforward for Cable from there website. Not really sure about another OSX TV app though.

TV on iMac

Eye TV software from El Gato, http://www.elgato.com/en, and a usb WinTv HVR 950, connected to my cable signal and to the iMac via usb. It permits me also to monitor a room with a camera, and watch tv and record it when need be.
