Hello out there.

I am getting rid of my TV and will be putting my iMac in the living room. I also want to keep being able to watch the few TV signals that I get through coax and was hoping to find a way to do this. Does anyone know of an adaptor of usb/firewire device that can connect to a coax and allow me to watch TV on my iMac without too much trouble? Thanks for your time!

Look into the Elgato EyeTV. I have the EyeTV Hybrid on my mid 2007 iMac. It works pretty well. With the S-Video in it works well enough for gaming as well.

Now when you say it works pretty well, have you had issues with it working properly?

I haven't had any issues with it.

Now I couldn't tell for sure from the website, but does it come with the coaxial adapter or is that something that I would have to buy separately? I know it comes with the S-video and RCA connections, but the coax didn't seem to be mentioned.
