Could you watch it if it was jailbroken?
My old iPhone was jailbroken and couldn't find any liveTV apps

I just assumed that if there was a way, then you could do it with a jailbroken phone. But I guess not.
 
it'd be nice if eyeTV would do something to stream live or semi-buffered video to the iPhone. I know you can stream your recorded videos. Really hoping something comes out for this before football season!
 
I am not sure about Jailbroken 2.0, but there was a program called ORB for 1.1.4 that allowed you to do it if you jailbroke. You need a computer with a TV tuner card hooked up to the internet. You then register at ORB's site and it basically becomes a slingbox with many more features. In fact, I'm returning my slingbox because this program does the same thing plus much much more. Google ORB.

I would think that they would now want to release an app to the Apple store now that 2.0 is out now. Hopefully they will in the future.

I think you might, however on another note, I just emailed the vice president of Orb and asked if they are working on any apps for the Apple store for the iphone and said that they were, stay tuned...
