iPod touch TV OUT on IPOD TOUCH GENERATION 2

Can anyone confirm that the tv out cable for ipod touch gen 1 works with the gen 2 ipod? I was annoyed they updated from the old classic to the touch let alone if they have again

Apple says on their website that both the Composite and Component video cables are compatible with the second generation iPod touch.
