TV Show descriptions not showing on Ipad

I have a lot of TV Shows that I have ripped and added to itunes. I tagged them all on my home Mac with iFlicks, and everything works great there. However, I have my Windows work laptop that I normally sync my iPad to, and copied several of the shows over. I found that it doesn't show the video descriptions on the iPad, either by syncing the video or via homesharing. All of the metadata carried over, and I can see the descriptions in iTunes. Anyone have any insight into why this is?
