iPod TV Show Issue

For some reason, my iPod doesnt have a lot of shows i have downloaded(mainly being free ones that do not have the newer quality)

They still show up on iTunes, but i am afraid tht if i update my iPod, the tv shows will go away

any suggestions?

Check your sync settings. Perhaps you have asked iTunes only to copy over videos that have not been watched. FWIW: My older downloaded shows have not disappeared.

how do i "un-sync it" without re-hooking my iPod first?

I don't beleive there is a way to adjust iPod settings without connecting the iPod. Since the files are still in iTunes, the risk is minimal. If you're really concerned, back the files up to CD/DVD or another drive before you conect the iPod.
