What are the current resolution of TV shows bought at the iTunes Store? Will this be upgraded when the Apple TV shipps? I don't want to buy a season of Heros to only have the resolution upgraded 2 weeks from now.

Eventually you just know Apple will offer everything in HD but it wont be anytime soon. Maybe next year.
Anyhoo... I have some iTS TV shows and movies I watch via frontrow on my 42" HDTV and the picture is just as good as a DVD. Technically it is not DVD but you can't tell the difference I assure you. I was worried about crap quality when on TV but I am amazed at how good they look.
