iPod touch tv syncing with jailbreaking

i've never jailbroken my touch, and have discovered that the A/V cables only output Video, not music and or photographs, which would be really useful

on a jailbroken phone, can you have extended features of the a/v cables, such as syncing out to the tv an application, photographs, music, and more?
