TV Tuner Card/Standalone System for Mac or HP LCD Monitor

Hey guys I was wondering how I can watch tv on my LCD monitor by chance? I have an older 15" macbook pro and im not looking to spend alot but Im looking for some sort of way to watch cable tv through the monitor or my macbook via monitor or some sort. Any help is appreciated.

There are a few different TV tuner cards out there that will work, it will depend on where you are and how you get your TV for which one you really need.

I live in the us and its directly through coaxial since im in a dorm.
