Hey folks!

I know this is a bit niche. I'm looking for a wireless TV tuner that's compatible with an iPad. Perhaps one that's a portable DVR or something like that, but it doesn't have to be.

I want one for my camper, which has a powered TV antenna on the roof. I'm not really interested in installing a TV on the camper but cell service isn't always available where I like to camp. On a rainy day, it would be cool to pick up some over the air channels and watch them on my iPad. In an ideal world, such a device would just be permanently mounted to the camper, connected to the coax connection for the TV antenna, and can simply be accessed via Wi-Fi (but not via an internet connection) by the iPad.

If such a device needed to be connected to a Wi-Fi network (i.e., didn't support direct WiFi to the iPad), but did NOT require internet connectivity, it would still work fine. It wouldn't be difficult to just throw a Wi-Fi router in the camper to create that network.

Does such a product exist? There are a couple of DVR's on Amazon that claim iOS compatibility but I don't know much about them.

Any wisdom?
