TV tuner

Hello, I'm a new mac user. I would like to get a tv tuner so that I can record tv programs to my macbook and watch them, and then perhaps burn them to dvd. Can anyone give me any suggestions or help? Thanks!

Analog or Digital?

For analog, I have the Plextor ConvertX Along with the excellent eyetv software from El Gato, it works quite well on both my Macbook and my older G4 tower.

Based on the quality of the EyeTV software, I'd definitely go with one of their hardware products for Digital TV recording.
