I have a question.
Why does the OS version of Watch Now, Up Next not contain the same programmes as the IOS version?
I am UK based if that makes a difference.
I can watch all the BBC iPlayer programmes for free on my ATV or iPhone but am asked to pay to watch on my MBP. No thanks...
The OS version has zero links to other apps (iPlayer, Amazon Prime and other TV channels on demand) and only includes Apple content or pay per view.
A sign of things to come?

Because the TV app on iOS and tvOS integrates directly with the third party apps. The TV app has only just been introduced to macOS and the same third party app providers don't have macOS apps that integrate with the TV app

Guess I'll just keep going direct then.
Pity as it is nice to have it all in one place and the MBP screen actually has a larger field of view than the TV. And the phone, obviously.
PS - That still does not address the fact that TV on OS charges for free content while TV on IOS does not.
