I've been running an ATV flawlessly for the last few months up until a couple of days ago. The device started constantly stopping video playback every few minutes. It happens with Home Sharing media and media streamed from the cloud.

Once the video stops it usually takes a few attempts beofre it will start working again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqAVYwjCsHk&feature=youtu.be

I've restarted the device countless times and even did a full factory reset last night and updated to the latest iOS but nothing, It's on a wired network and no other devices have exhibited any problems streaming media on my network.

Has anybody seen this behaviour before of is my ATV dying?

If you have your ATV3 WiFi connected, try and reboot your router.
