If you've been a fan of TVersity, you'll be happy to know that they released a new version that will allow live transcoding of web content to your iPhone/iPad. Basically, whatever you can watch on your desktop at home, you can have it controlled and streamed over to your iPhone/iPad. That includes Hulu, CBS, NBC, The Daily Show, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, and more!
They do offer a Free and a Pro version, but even at $39 for the Pro version, that sure as hell beats Hulu Plus for $10 a month.

I purchased PlayOn a while back and they're coming out with an iPhone solution tomorrow, so be on the lookout for that.

I believe both require Windows PCs, the server end of either software do not run on Macs.
