Hi. I have an TVHD upgraded to 14.5 and AirPods Pro. The system setting on the TV to control the BT volume is grayed out and  said it's because I have the old, "aluminium" remote and not the new one with volume controls. Not wanting to spend $60 for another remote, I bought a $15 remote that says it's fully compatible with this model TV. The remote controls everything on the TV except volume.

Am I SOL, or i there anything I can do with this config?

Thanks.

Scott

you could try using the remote control on the phone, when that's on the screen, your phone's volume buttons should change the aTV.

but apple is probably more knowledgeable about "unusual" situations like not having a siri remote than the rest of us.
