Apple TV 4th Gen, totally baffled, I have had this issue since tvOS 9.

I would like to use my iCloud photos as the screensaver.

I go to General > Screensaver > Type > My Photos.

This drops me to a menu with Photos - Memories - Shared - Albums across the top.

If I go to Photos, Memories, or Albums, I am just browsing my photos. All this time in tvOS 9, I thought this was just a bug. I remember at one point I was able to use All Photos as the screensaver but it would after some time revert back to Aerial all on its own.

Tonight I discovered that if I got to Shared and choose one of those albums, I have the option to "Set As Screensaver"

So, really, I can only use shared albums as screensavers?

same problem. I was hoping 10 would fix it. BTW, how can you set music as a screensaver? Showing my pictures is my favorite part of having a ATV

Just tried to do this yesterday as well. Pretty sure it's a bug. I sent Apple feedback on it, so hopefully they'll do something about it.
