I have the first 4k Apple TV (4th gen). It was configured to output in 4k/30hz SDR and I had no problems. After updating to the new tvOS 14.5 I now get green bars across much of the top third of my screen.
My setup is the Apple TV is plugged into a Denon AVR-6700. Then this plugs into a Sharp LC-60SQ15U TV. It worked perfectly well until I installed the update. The Sharp TV was when they made "3k" resolution TVs that took 4k/30hz signals and then downsized it to their "3k" resolution. Back when 4k was JUST starting to come out and was far too expensive.
Any thoughts or suggestions to try? Outputting in 1024 works fine of course. But then I'm not taking full advantage of what the TV can provide by getting a 4k signal.
