I updated my Apple TV 2nd gen to TVOS 26. I also updated my Mac’s and iPad. I saw that in the settings for the new Phone app on my iPad there was a “calls on other devices” menu and my Apple TV showed up, so I toggled it on my iPad there. I later updated my iPhone to iOS 26 and saw my Apple TV listed under “calls on other devices” there as well, so I toggled it on there as well.

Later I started my iPhone and noticed the Apple TV disappeared from that menu on my iPhone, though it’s there on my other devices. The setting to show incoming calls on my Apple TV under settings -> profiles and accounts -> default account was showing as “unavailable”.

I restarted my iPhone again and that option changed to “on”, but Apple TV still isn’t showing up under the “calls on other devices” settings anymore on my iPhone despite being there on my iPad.

i tested a call and did see something pop up on my Apple TV, though pressing and holding the TV button did not answer the call.

Any idea how to get my Apple TV to show up in the Phone app setting on my iPhone again?

Did anyone else get “unavailable” listed for the option on the Apple TV?
