Was curious if anyone knows of a tweak that will allow me to disable 3G on a Sprint iPhone 5, so I can just use 1x to conserve battery life when I don't need 3G speeds. There is no option to disable it in settings so I was hoping there might be a tweak that will allow me to do this.

There's Smart 3G+LTE. It has an option to keep 1xRT (Edge) and it will shut off the 3G and Cellular Data (or just Cellular Data if you want to keep 3G for some reason).

It does this when you switch to WiFi. When you leave WiFi it automatically turns 3G back on. I've been using it for a while and I don't even have to think about any of it anymore. It has an exception list so that if you want to use a particular app on 3G when the device is locked you can, otherwise it shuts off 3G when locked.

Here's the settings if you want to see. Might explain it better.

Doesn't seem to do anything for me, still stuck on 3G not 1x.
