I always use a hot corner to make the screen shut off on my Mac. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a standalone tweak or an activator add on that would allow me to swipe on screen just to make it sleep as I use "dim to black" tweak, I just want screen to sleep not lock. Thx fellas.

I do this with Activator since my sleep button is not working properly. Just select "Anywhere" in Activator, choose the gesture you want and select "Sleep Button" to assign it to that gesture.

For example, I swipe right on the status bar to put the phone to sleep.

Oops, I didn't catch that last part about it not locking. What I said above won't work the way you want.

No problem fsck-y dingo, thanks alot for the response either way. I was using this way before too, but once i started using dim to black screen tweak, I no longer wanted it to lock. I wonder how I might be able to email the dev of activator, maybe he can add this in. Thx again either way, very appreciated.
