macOS Tweaking Mail to minimise when a link is clicked

Hi

Basically what I want to do is somehow tweak Mail.app so that when I click on a link in an e-mail the Mail window will minimise and the web browser will come up. Is there any way to do this, in Applescript or otherwise?
