Tweaks for 10.8?

Hi there,
I was wondering what you recommend for settings to reduce wear and tear on an SSD in Mountain Lion? I installed the trim but wonder what may have more to do? Is it worth shutting down the spot light? I have the home folder on a hard drive and have pretty good track that I did not had to use my Spot Light.

I have found a program called Smart Sleep is something to wear?

Personally, I no longer worry about it. Sort if defeats the purpose don't you think?
