just out of curiosity

would it be possible for devs to port the 6 Plus elements to the iPhone 6? like the springboard rotating, iMessages, Mail, Calendar with extended elements etc?

There's a tweak called Rotate+ that does this. It should be on Modmyi soon, but if you want it in the meantime search for it on reddit and you'll find a direct link to the deb file. Here's the thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/2lc6og/incoming_rotate_bring_iphone_6_landscape_rotation/

Gives split pane on settings, mail, and messages and does springboard and lock screen rotation. Calendar not yet, but probably coming soon.

Thanks for this!

I thought I was the only one who was afraid to jailbreak first lol

Ryan petrich just released Littlebrother which is awesome. You can put the zoom to small and makes it perform like a 6+

LittleBrother is good, but has a lot of bugs right now. It'll be the best option once the bugs are squashed. However it doesn't work with Homescreen designer, kills iwidgets if you rotate to landscape and has flaws in the split pane messages if you switch orientations. It does full tabbed Safari, though, which is great. Once it plays nice with the other tweaks and the bugs are ironed out, I'll use that.

I bought little brother and it's really pretty cool but still has quite a few quirks left to be worked out. One to many for me to keep it installed.

The one cool thing I just noticed is I had little brother set to small to take advantage of all the landscape modes but when I removed it the icons remained in the small mode. I tried it out and you can change it back to standard or zoomed so all is good. I reinstalled and set icons back to small lol:p I even deleted the preferences in iFile and rebooted lol. Looking forward to some more updates and have "Show All Changes" ticked in Cydia.

Upscale at 827x1470 is best of both worlds I'm finding, though it doesn't work with Homescreen designer. Gives good extra space, and has split pane in landscape for messages, mail and calendar, plus real tabs in safari. No split pane in settings, though and no springboard rotation (could probably enable with another tweak).

I just had a screen replacement yesterday and due to scheduling my phone was with Apple for ~6 hours... I just uninstalled the visual tweaks (Simplidock, Date in Statusbar, FakeClockUp etc) so that it looked stock and then moved Cydia/Pangu to the second page of a random folder.

It shouldn't be a problem if you take a jailbroken phone in (as long as you are smart about hiding any visual signs of it)...

Thx alot for the tip! That is the perfect setting.

Settings does split in my case though.

For rotation I use Rotate+

That's why. Rotate+ splits settings. I had Rotate+ installed, but am now just using what's native with Upscale, since I prefer portrait settings anyway on this size screen. I do appreciate the split screen calendar and the safari tabs, though. It also just looks slick with things rendered at this resolution.

Now if only we could get it to actually increase the real resolution and size of the display! ;)

Looks like it doesn't play nicely with rotate+ and settings.

When opening setting and going to landscape and back to portrait I am unable to open submenus in setting. If I go back to landscape the right panel is totally grey. Closing and reopening solves it.

That doesn't happen on 900x1600 and 850x1511

I just use Upscale and Forcegoodfit and it does almost everything you would need it to do. Use the custom resolution of 850x1151 and the phone thinks it's a 6+. Native home screen rotation gets enabled when the phone thinks the screen is larger than the 6.
Only thing I had to do was disable forcegoodfit on a handfull of apps that don't natively resize on larger screens.
