Tweetbot Push Notifications

I have everything turned on and i have signed out, deleted the app but to no avail. Push Noticiations worked fine with the native twitter app but I bought the ipad app when it was on sale. This weekend I liked it so much, I bought it for my iphone as well.

Maybe i'm not setting them up right? How do you set push notifications by each person you follow?

I know that. I'm talking by individual people I follow.

Example: I want to receive a push notification when MacRumors has a tweet. Just a banner like the twitter client does. Twitter clients lets you select who you want to receive a notification from when they tweet.

Doesn't look like tweetbot has this which is sad.

It does not. I thought it might when I bought it but there is an app out there that does it. I forget the name but search the forums. I think it might be boxcar?

OK, thanks. That is really disappointing and hard to believe it isn't there. I'll ask tapbots if they can add it as a future feature.
