How many people out there use tweetbot? I use it and am in love with its gorgeous UI and now that you can finally get push notifications it makes it way better! If you don't believe me I'll post a pic. Anyway just wanted to hear your review of the app and what other twitter clients you might use.

are you the developer?

not sure what you mean by "finally has push alerts." it's had them as long as i've had the app, which has been at least 6 months.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

I go between tweetbot and twittelator neue

No not the developer, and by finally I meant because it has not had them for the longest time and I believe there still on a first come first serve basis for push notifications because they are still in the testing stages.

Love Tweetbot! I was using Echofon due to it's sync between iOS, Windows, and Mac clients, but now that Tweetbot has Tweet Marker support, it's my everyday iOS client.

I use it and love it. It does have a bug in replies. When replying, it doesn't place the reply as part of the conversation like other replies in the conversation.

The app is still pretty intuitive with the latest update and I'm still trying to figure it out a bit but it's so great. I love tapbots they made incredible apps

Tweetbot > all other Twitter clients.

I absolutely love it, the iPhone and iPad versions. Here's hoping for a Mac version sometime in the future!

I find the "Clear" app useless though.

I use Tweetbot.....it's so much better than the native Twitter app. I've been using it for a couple of months, and it's had push notifications the entire time. So whatchu talkin' bout, OP?

I especially find it funny when people stop following me.

I find it funnier when ads, spammers, and porno spammers follow me.

Definitely my favorite twitter client as well. My favorite part (that I have only found in maybe one other app) is the swipe to see replies. I love reading a tweet and being able to see all the replies so easily. It's intuitive and easy to use.

Nope. The official one is pretty good. No need to spend money purchasing an app that is available already.

in addition to swiping left for replies, i love swipe right for conversation view. tweetbot is awesome.

It's really night and day between the two apps. I thought the same thing before I spent the whopping $3 on it. After using Tweetbot, I can honestly say that the official app sucks compared to it.

I use tweetbot but there are a few things I find frustrating about it that the official twitter app actually does better:

1. Tweetbot doesn't save your place in saved searches. Every time you access a saved search, it reloads all tweets and starts at the newest one. The official twitter client opens a saved search to your last read tweet and loads new tweets above, so you can simply scroll to read what's new.

2. In conversation view, Tweetbot stops the conversation at the current tweet, and if you want to continue to view replies, you have to perform another gesture. The official twitter client shows the conversation up to the current tweet, but also includes additional replies below, all on the same screen, so that you can view the full conversation.

Other than those 2 points above, Tweetbot is superior to the native twitter app in all other ways. I'm a big fan of tapbots in general (I own Convertbot and Calcbot too), and it was the UI that sold me.
