I thought I’d post a quick review on the Twelve South Curve Flex because when I was looking for info ahead of buying it - there wasn’t much to be found.
It isn't a cheap stand, but now that I have it, it's well worth it in my eyes. With Cyber weekend coming up, you can likely pick it up on sale. I tried a couple of cheap stands on Amazon, but they frustrated to me to no end. One of them broke and a received a refund for it so I figured why not put that towards the Twelve South Stand
It is really solid - solid look, solid feel, great build quality and both my MBP 14" and Surface Laptop 4 15" (for work!) fit on this stand with no issues. They feel solid, stable and aren't going anywhere.
I love the angle adjustments - I really wanted a stand that would allow me to align the top of my laptop with the top of my monitors, and raise the field of view of my laptop so I wasn't looking down at it all the time. It's now at a great height.
Also, with all the non slip padding - my laptop isn't going anywhere. I really feel it's safe and secure, and the stand feet cover the entire base of my laptops with enough left over to avoid slippage so I'm not concerned about them slipping or falling off.
I was worried with the flex and adjustment that it was going to drop or lower over time, but with the build quality I don't thik it's going to happen. I've ensured that it's been adjusted to it's tight setting with the included allen key.
I've only had it a few days and am really happy with it (look, feel and purpose built)- I'll come back and update this down the track.
