Twin Peaks 2016 on Showtime

Just announced that Twin Peaks will be having 9 new episodes to conclude the series on Showtime in 2016. Thoughts?

"I'll be seeing you in 25 years" -Laura Palmer, on the season finale of season 2, 24 years ago.

I think that this will be the most literal usage of foreshadowing ever employed in cinema, and I could not be more excited.

This would have been an AWESOME score for Netflix; but kudos to Showtime for returning the show! FYI: The exec at Showtime who approved the return is actually the same exec who brought the show to ABC back in 1990.

Wayward Pines

Little off topic. Just started reading the Wayward Pines Trilogy by Blake Crouch.

Very enjoyable so far, and I'm really getting a "Twin Peaks" vibe. I would recommend the series to any TP fans out there.

Nobody is going to believe me, but I just started watching Twin Peaks all over again last Saturday by accident.

Such a damn good series!

Just got to the scene where Sheriff Truman and Hawk came back to the police station and ask Lucy, who's watching that Invitation to Love show, "What's going on Lucy?" and she gives a full recap of what just happened in said soap. Hilarious stuff.
