Weird. Without any announcement (that I'm aware of), David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti have released a second volume of music from the classic series Twin Peaks...some sixteen years after the show ended its run.
Some of the music apparently isn't from TP at all. But enough of it is to make it worthwhile, including "Audrey's Prayer" (a hymn-like theme which plays while Audrey is locked in One-Eyed Jack's and is "speaking" to Agent Cooper), a plaintive re-working of the show's haunting signature "Laura Palmer's Theme", and a few of the darker jazz riffs that didn't make it into the first soundtrack CD.
I didn't even know this was going to be released; I just came across it by accident in iTMS. But I know there are a lot of Twin Peaks fans in here, so I thought I'd mention it.
