Twitch App - push notification when streamers log on?

I recently downloaded the iOS Twitch app. I have Notifications enabled, but so far, it doesn't appear to do anything. I'd like it to send me a push notification when a streamer I follow starts streaming. Is that something possible with the app?

Anyone with Twitch app experience have any thoughts? Thanks!
