Twitter for iPhone "Nearby" Broken?

I noticed this feature hasn't been working for a while, but it has worked in the past. Is it working for anyone else? After I click the little radar icon it finds my location, the radar bar swings around and finds nothing. I click list and it says "No Tweet results for "(null)""

Yup i can confirm the nearby feature is broken... When i use another twitter app (Twittelator) i can see dozens of people near me... With twitter for iphone no one is nearby...

they all seem to work like that now. I used to be able to select nearby and -boom i would see a list in a matter of seconds. I think its the way it searches, it seems to be different and not as good as earlier non radar versions.

That's too bad. I really liked that feature.
