Twitter for iPhone - Timeline not updating?

Has anyone else found this? I am using an iPhone 4 on iOS4.1 with the latest version of Twitter for iPhone - when I pull down the timeline to refresh it loads for a bit then displays the message "PCDATA invalid char value 1..." Googling doesn't seem to help here - any ideas or is anyone else experiencing this?

I just bitched about this on twitter. I can post, read my mentions, trends and all. No timeline. It seemed ok on my iPad though, oddly.

I was using Twitterific. and was running also into Issues reason I installed just "twitter" and now I am having that same problem re: pcdata invalid Char value 1...
~ It's a bug.. last post I'm able to get is 21 hours ago..
NOTE: Live Twitter.com works fine.

I am still down.

I received a form email from twitter talking about OAuth and how this will affect authentication by 3rd party apps.

I assume this is the root of this issue, but I don't know what to do to resolve...

hopefully it will take care of itself.

Updated a bunch of apps (Echofon, Seesmic, even got the one from Twitter), and nothing is working. What a bunch of BS. How are they blaming "3rd party apps" when their own app isn't working ?

Updated the iPhone OS

I was using the Twitter app with no problem up until this morning.

I kept getting the "PCDATA invalid..." error.

I updated all of my apps which were out-of-date, via the App Store.

Still got the "PCDATA invalid..." error.

Plugged my iPhone into my iMac and installed the newest OS update.

No more "PCDATA invalid..." error.

SUCCESS!


Try and lemme know if it works.

mine's working now... fixed itself about an hour and a half ago...

must have been an internal issue at twitter...
