Twitter for Mac showing foreign trends

I've recently noticed that the official Twitter app on my MacBook Pro is showing trends from a different country. I think they're from Brazil - a place I've never been in my life. I can't find anywhere in settings to change my location to the UK. Anyone know how to do it?
