I hope I'm posting this in the right forum!

I've been having a strange problem with Twitter on my Mac (Late 2013, MacBookPro, 2.3GHz i7 quad processor, 16gb RAM, 512gb SSD) where no images (profile display pictures or pictures uploaded on Twitter) show.

This happens on Tweetdeck:

..and even on every browser when I look up anything on Twitter:

Even embedded tweets on any other website also show the broken image icon in the display picture or twitter pic.

Now when I log onto other WiFi networks, everything works perfectly fine. This would imply pretty clearly that this was an issue with my ISP. Here's the kicker though, I also own a Windows laptop running Windows 7, which has absolutely no issues with displaying images on Twitter, across browsers and Tweetdeck.

Is there a network setting I could change to make this work? On Safari, when I try to "open image in new tab", it states that "Safari can't find the server pbs.twimg.com".

Solved!

Adding the following Google Public DNSs solved the issue:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

(System Preferences>Network>Advanced>DNS. I had to copy paste the existing DNS addresses and add the Google one, since adding the Google DNS address removed the other two. Not sure if this was of any consequence; I'm sure the more seasoned networkers will know.)

Thank you for the hint, Turkey. Hope things get better there soon.
