Twitter issues on iOS5

I've just tried sharing a pic to twitter from the new native iOS5 option in photo.app and it appears to send, but doesn't appear on my twitter. but sharing a website link does and makes a noise once done, which the photo doesn't do.

anyone else having this problem?
 
I've shared a few pics using iOS 5's "deep Twitter integration" with no issues. However I find that share menu in the Photos app to be sluggish when it's opened and rendered; likewise for the tweet box. But of course, yes, it's a beta & not necessarily polished.
 
it took me 2 times to post a pic to twitter the other day directly from my iphone.
 
i just noticed in contacts you can add someones twitter name then when you go to contact and click on it will mention them. that is cool.

is there a way you can make a post without mentioning anyone directly from the iphone without going to the twitter app? besides tweeting a pic or a location that is.
 
So twitter is in iOS 5 I know that. But do we have to use the twitter for iPhone app or can we use a different app? If so will iOS 5 twitter still work?
 
ok, weirdly, after some messing about, it turns out it's specifically photos taken on the iPad that won't upload to twitter using the native integration into iOS 5

nope, the native integration can be used without the app installed. you just log in in the twitter section of settings.
