Hi,
Since upgrading to IOS 5 on my iPhone 4 I've noticed that Twitter has a new sound ('Tweet') for notifications which is pleasant and unobtrusive enough for me to assign it so that there is a distinction between my Facebook notifications.
However, it still plays the same tone as it did previously (and therefore the same as Facebook) despite it being selected.

Anyone have any tips on whats up?

Thanks.

I wondered the same thing until my Brother explained. The tweet tone is only used when posting a tweet from something within iOS (ie tweeting a photo) and not for when you actually get a mention or a new tweet. But silly but oh well.

I use this tone for my SMS text messages from twitter... it's a nice touch personally.
