Twitter update won't go away!

Okay so basically I downloaded Twitter on the mac app store on account A. In the updates tab there is an update for version 2.1.1. I download the update, close the app store, open it again, and the update is still there! I recently made another account, we'll call it account B. I haven't made any purchases on B yet but the twitter update is STILL there and refuses to go away. When I click install it says I have to log into account A to install it (which doesn't work). HELP PLEASE :confused:
 
It's a known issue with the current Mac App Store. As far as I know, there is no solution yet.

Also, please search the forum next time before starting a new thread to ask a question. This specific issue has been asked and answered numerous times. Thanks and welcome to MR!
