I am assisting an organization who has a late-2009 iMac (21.5", iMac 10,1)... they are trying to run a program called ProPresenter, and need to feed two displays in addition to the built-in iMac screen. This iMac has standard USB 2.0 ports, one firewire port and one Mini Displayport.

We've been able to set up a second monitor via the mini DP... but cannot see a way to get a third output. I've seen some USB to VGA adapters, but not sure they will work. I've also seen some mini DP "hubs", but according to the doc, they all require MST, which is NOT supported on any version of Mac OS X, OS X or macOS. According to the doc, using these devices will result in 2 or 3 (depending on the device) mirrored screens, and NOT additional outputs.

Does anyone know of a way? I know the newer iMacs have two TB/DP ports, but the organization cannot easily afford a new iMac at this point.
