Costco now lets you use a digital membership card to go into the building, and check out. Because Costco takes Apple Pay, now you don't have to carry in a wallet at all to go into Costco.

And, Bank of America is now allowing you instant issue debit cards using Apple Pay. https://newsroom.bankofamerica.com/...ng/bank-america-introduces-digital-debit-card

Now when you open a new account you get a card right away you can use inside of Apple Pay right away, to access cash at ATMs, to make purchases and so on.

I think we are seeing this whole "use your phone for everything" thing finally taking off.
