On my aluminium iMac, I run 10.7 Lion 99 per cent of the time. But, from time to time, I still want to work with some PPC applications (drawing in AppleWorks!), which obviously won't run without Rosetta. That is why I have a partition on my harddisk with 10.6 Snow Leopard, which I boot off of sometimes. All is good this way.
I recently bought a Time Capsule, and my question is: if I let the Time Machine software in 10.7 backup the 10.6 partition as well, a) will that work, and b) --more importantly-- will the Time Machine software in 10.7 make a reliable backup of the 10.6 system?
Point a) I presume to be a yes, but b) may be a bit more problematic.
Do you have experience with this?
