I just received my Apple Watch Ultra (still in box) and I have my existing AW7 as well. I'm wondering if I can I have both cellular watches paired with my iPhone? I'm expecting that I'd have to pay for two separate cellular watch plans (I'm using AT&T) but I'm wondering if this is possible? (I know it's possible to have multiple Apple Watches paired with one iPhone but I'm uncertain of how this works with the cellular AWs.)

Maybe I'll end up wanting the AWUltra to be my full time watch but I'm really thinking that'll it'll be mostly useful on my bigger adventures (multi-day backpacking, ultrarunning, etc.) I suspect the AW7 might remain my every day watch.

Not sure I'll end up keeping both just wondering if this is possible? Anyone else doing this?

I'm doing this now. I have an AWU and AW8 both with their own cellular plan. I have auto switching enabled, so whatever watch I wear is automatically in use.

Great. I'd seen people asking about this but never definitively answered. Thanks.

Does it work well? Any issues?

What carrier? AT&T?

You were right. It was also easy with AT&T. No issues.
