Hello,
I know I've successfully done this in the past, but I can't remember what I did...
I have iTunes on a Windows laptop, and I would like to be able to use iTunes to store backups of my Apple devices and my husband's Apple devices. As I said, I know I've done this before, I actually have backups of old iPhones on the Windows laptop.
But the last time I connected my husband's iPhone to the laptop (first time with this iPhone) while iTunes was running, I got the screen asking if I should set this up as a new phone or restore from a previous backup. I didn't want to do either, I wanted to create a new backup of this phone. At the time, I had signed out of iTunes with my Apple ID.
Would someone be able to refresh my memory as to how I deal with two apple ID's on the same PC? I know I did not create a new Windows account, nor do I intend to complicate our Windows usage by doing so now. I think it may have had to do with multiple iTunes libraries...?
Thanks!
