I just recently lost alot of data because my last hard drive was damaged due to disconnecting itself randomly and now my new one is doing the same. Also it's starting to make clicking noises and having a hard time connecting. I just bought yet another one as soon as this one started clicking. It got here the next day because I didn't want to waste anytime getting the data, but now i can't get the disk to mount to get the information and if it does finally mount I can't see any files on it or when it does finally load all the files, I can't remove them because of some error and then it will disconnect by itself..
I've read threads with this issues but not any with different hard drives, So can anyone help me to figure what is causing this?
