A couple of days ago I turned on my Macbook to find that I had two docks (one underneath the other). I then moved the dock to the left of the screen to see if the other one would go, but the other one is still there at the bottom of the screen. So I now have two with one not working. How do I remove it?

Also, I noticed that the top display of the screen (which shows the time, battery percentage, etc) is blurred and it's all happened so randomly.

I don't know why or how this has happened, I've tried the obvious, turning on and off (several times!) and restarting it, and even tried a software update, but nothing has worked... does anyone know how to fix this before I have to go to the Apple store?

Thanks,
Amber :)

Can you post a screenshot?

It almost sounds like someone changed your wallpaper to play a trick on you..

Yes, it sounds like your desktop wallpaper is an image of a desktop. Try changing your wallpaper.
