Two finger scrolling

I just transferred my iBook to my new MacBook and am not able to use the two finger scrolling. I am able to use the zoom when I hold down the control button. Any suggestions to why the two finger scrolling isn't working? Thanks!

did you enable it in the system preferences.
mice and keyboards->trackpad

You should be able to scroll with just two fingers on the track pad without holding down any buttons. At least that's how it works on the MBA.
