So i received a replacement 5s and before activating it, i backedup my iphone and restored that saved file onto the new replacement.

i looked into my icloud storage and it shows two backups?
one looked like my older one from my older phone and one said "this phone"

why does it do that?

i deleted the older one..... mistake?

Yep after using it you can delete the older one. The phones must have two different names to be creating two different backups. Just delete the old backup and when you back up the new phone it will replace it old backup.
