Two Iphones, Two Plans, same person...??

I don't see how its cheaper to have 2 seperate lines/accts however.
Family plan:
Main line minimum $70 +$30 data +txt plan + Taxes (700 shared mins)
2nd line $9.99 +$30 data + txt plan + taxes
Total =$150~ + taxes (based on $5 200msg txt pkg for both) - fam discount =$120~ + taxes
2 separate planes
$40 +$30 data +txt plan + taxes (450 minute plan (only has 500 night/wkend mins))
Total =$150~ + taxes (based on $5 200msg txt pkg for both) - fam discount =$120~ + taxes
Odd they cost the same*
Change it to the 900 min plan:
$60 +$30 data +txt plan + taxes
Total =$190~ + taxes (based on $5 200msg txt pkg for both) - fam discount =$150~ + taxes
**1400 min Family plan is $90 which makes the Family plan still cheaper.
Even this route;
Phone 1.
$40 +$30 data +txt plan + taxes (450 minute plan (only has 500 night/wkend mins))
Phone 2
$60 +$30 data +txt plan + taxes (900 minute plan)
Total =$ 170~ + taxes (based on $5 200msg txt pkg for both) - fam discount =$136~ + taxes
Family plan is still cheaper
* however you have unlimited nights/wkend on the family plan

My wifes plan...450 minutes, data and 200 TXTs for 5 bucks...with taxes the final montly bill is 62.00 x2 would be 124.00 if allowed ....Also that would be 450 minutes EACH phone not 700 minutes shared..or am I not seeing something..??
If you both use the full 450 mins then yes its cheaper.
I have 2 accts both with the same fam discount. You both will have to goto a AT&T Corp store to get it set up. I don't think the phone drones are smart enough to do it
