Ok I installed 2gb of ram and ocz 80gb ssd about two months ago and everything been much faster. However, every once and awhile when I open the macbook up it would be frozen; I.E. i've have a spinning rainbow wheel and have to turn it off and on again to get it to work. I thought I had fixed the problem by unchecking the "put hard disks to sleep" under energy saver, but it does this more and more often.

I also attempted to turn of safe sleep by switching it from 3 to 0 in terminal but still no go...

My screen recently began having issues whenever i move it, the screen goes black and i have to readjust it to get it to work again.

Thanks guys I appreciate your help

Could be the beginning signs of a bad HD or a bag logic board. Take it into an Apple Store and have them run a hardware diagnostics to see if anything comes up with the RAM, hard drive or logic board.

Good luck.

believe i've figured out the screen issue, I guess the power cable that goes through the joint has gotten worn down.
