Every 2 weeks or so I clean my Macbook with a damp rag to get rid of dirty fingerprints and such to keep it looking nice and white. About an hour after I cleaned my Macbook tonight, I discovered that the "r" and "4" keys don't work. What should I do? Please help!

Turn it off, remove the battery and let it dry.

How damp was the cloth you used and how hard did you press on the keys to clean them?

The cloth was pretty well wrung out but it was still pretty wet. For the most part I wasn't pressing the keys down but occasionally I would be pressing hard enough for the keys to go down.

ive just bought my macbook, but when i clean it (ive done it like twice) i use this baby wipe that is super died out - but it works well. the soap? still gets all the slight smudges right off.
