I'm using a MB (C2D, 2.16 GHz, 1GB RAM) and a fully updated Leopard.
Booting is fast but after recently adding two third-party apps to Login items, I notice that these dramatically prolong completion of the boot.
So, on a restart I get to the Desktop after about 35 seconds. Within 4-5 seconds of this, I can see QS (Quicksilver is also in Login Items) appear momentarily on the screen.
Then nothing happens for a further 1 minute and 40 seconds when finally I see a simultaneous appearance of the XRG table on the Desktop as well as the Gmail notifier in the menu bar.
Should I be worried about this?
